To use, fill the lower part of the espresso maker with cold fresh water just below the safety release valve, install the filter funnel and fill the filter funnel with ground coffee.

Tightly screw the upper part of the pot on the base and place the espresso maker onto the stovetop at moderate heat.

When water boils, steam reaches a pressure to push water through ground coffee and brewed coffee collects in the upper chamber.

There will be a gurgling sound during this process.

When the top of the pot is full of coffee, remove from stove.
